Accessorials
Multi Air Freight is committed to meeting each of our customers’ unique shipping needs. Accessorial services are those that go beyond normal pickup and delivery, such as inside delivery or COD service. Smiles are always free of charge. 😄
All accessorial charges with multiple rate factors will be charged at the greater or most applicable of the charges. Additional accessorials not included in the quote will be charged if deemed required. If consignor indicates on the Bill of Lading that the application and payment of an accessorial service must be preauthorized, the consignor must provide on the Bill of Lading the name, e-mail address and telephone number of the person authorized to approve the service; a preauthorization charge may apply. Failure to provide the information will nullify the preauthorization requirement. Shipments where any single piece exceed 75lbs require loading dock, forklift, or liftgate.
Please refer to the listing below for a full list of accessorials and definitions. It's just like a restaurant menu, but without the food, drinks, or desserts.
FYI: Prices and definitions effective January 1, 2023

Fuel Surcharge
Fuel surcharge is assessed to cover the costs of fluctuating fuel costs in our region and will be listed separately in your charges. This applies to all charges that involve vehicle movement, such as deliveries, transfers, attempts, etc. Tariff will specifically identify which services where fuel surcharge applies. We rely on the AAA Gas Price index for Diesel prices in our region. When the index is at $1.25 or more per gallon the surcharge is applied. We adjust the fuel surcharge on the first of each month based on the last posting of the prior month. Please refer to the following for surcharge determination and historical data: Fuel Surcharge
